The city sells cemetery plots and maintains the water lines, roadways and the landscape outside the plots. Maintenance of an individual plot is the responsibility of its owner.
Plots are $500 plus the court recording fee. Contact City Hall to purchase one.
The city does not keep a burial list. The GA GenWeb Project may have useful records. The Early County Museum partners with the Genealogy Society of Early County, which meets the third Thursday of each month from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.; call the museum at 229-724-7222.
