Notice of emergency calls during the emergency declaration
Under the 2020 emergency declaration, Electric, Water and Sewer, Gas and Street crews were available on an on-call basis. Residents who could not reach City Hall were asked to call the Fire Department or the 911 non-emergency line.
While under the Declaration of Emergency, City employees in the Electric, Water and Sewer, Gas and Street Departments were available on an on-call basis. Residents could contact City Hall for service needs; if unable to get through, they were asked to call the Fire Department at 229-723-5150 or the 911 non-emergency number at 229-723-2201. Messages were forwarded to the correct department.
